UHS Cross Country Results - State Meet @ Wamego
It was a beautiful day for the state cross country meet held on Saturday, October 27th, 2018, at Wamego where the 1A, 2A, and 4A classes competed. The Ulysses boys’ cross country team ran to a 9th place team finish and back-to-back state qualifier, sophomore Yessenia Ornelas, ran to a 47th place finish, improving her state time from last year by over a minute. Our kids ran hard as five out of the eight who competed all ran a PR (personal record) on the same Wamego course as compared to last season. We are very proud of all of our runners for all of their accomplishments this season. Both the boys and girls teams were young this season and we hope to see everyone come out next year to pick up where we left off this year! Thanks to everyone who supported the cross country team this season as we greatly appreciate all of you!
