Last year the USD BOE approved seven "Late Start" days for Teacher Professional Development. They are: September 13th, November 8th, December 13th, January 10th, February 14th, April 11th, and May 9th. The first one is this Wednesday, September 13th.  School will not start until 1 1/2 hours later than normal start time.  (Hickok and Sullivan starting at 9:45 a.m., KMS and UHS starting at 9:30 a.m.)

The district will run buses at the regular time to help parents who work. Breakfast will be served at this regular time.  Paraprofessionals and UHS students will be on hand to supervise students during the "Late Start" time.

Students who are able to get some extra sleep and arrive at school at the Late Start times of Hickok and Sullivan at 9:45 a.m., KMS and UHS at 9:30 a.m. will have a "grab and go" breakfast available.

If you have any questions please call your child's schools.  Thank you for your support with the Late Start days!
