Ulysses High School is proud to host the 2016 4A State Golf Championship at Bentwood Golf Course in Ulysses on May 23rd this year. There is a variety of information regarding the tournament below, Bentwood Golf Course and City of Ulysses that will help you as you plan for the post-season. DATE, TIME, TEE-OFF METHOD: Monday, May 23rd, 2016 (Make-up date will be Tuesday, May 24th in the event of poor weather). Coaches Meeting will take place at 8:15 am in the clubhouse, players will receive instructions at their first tee box. Tee-off will start at 9:00 am beginning at hole #1 and hole #10.

PRACTICE ROUNDS: The course will be available for practice all day Saturday and Sunday, May 21-22, 2016. The practice round fee will be $31.00 with a golf cart. The course will be open to anyone calling to reserve a tee-time; tee-times can be scheduled by calling (620) 356-3097. A driving range is also available. Bentwood Golf Course is not available for practice the day of the tournament.
CART AVAILABILITY: Bentwood will be taking pre-pay rentals before the tournament for extra carts to be brought in. They will be $40.00 per cart. Please reserve them as soon as possible after the Regional tournament. 10 golf carts will be available for spectators to rent the day of the tournament at $50 per cart.
SPECTATORS/GALLERY: Bentwood Golf Course asks that all spectators and members of the gallery are respectful of the grounds, and remain in areas that will not interfere with participants. Carts must remain on cart paths. Click for Copy of KSHSAA Spectator Guidelines
MARKERS: Markers will consist of Bentwood Men’s and Women’s Golf Association. Each group will be assigned a marker, and individuals acting as markers will be given specific instructions as to their duties.
RESTROOMS: Indoor and outdoor restrooms are available at the clubhouse. Additional restroom facilities are available at Frazier Park and at the 4th hole tee and the back nine.
AWARDS: At the end of the tournament, an awards assembly will be held. The top 20 individuals will receive medals and top three team’s trophies. Any ties will be broken as per the KSHSAA manual.
