UHS at Wamego Invitational Cross Country Meet;
Showing Much Promise This Season
By Georjean Perez on September 12, 2015
The Ulysses Varsity cross-country team traveled to Wamego to run in the 4A pre-state meet. We are so proud of all of our kids! They all had a PR (personal record) and ran very tough.
Both teams showed much improvement over last years’ teams and show much promise for the season. We have several freshmen on each team, as well as some junior and senior runners who are running cross for the first time, and they are showing tremendous growth and motivation.
Our next meet will be Saturday, September 19th, at Hugoton, where our JV and middle school will run and then our home meet will be held on September 22, Tuesday, at the Bentwood Golf Course, with the JV race starting at 4 pm. Come on out and support the UHS and KMS cross country teams!
