Governor Brownback Cuts General State Aid;
School District's Across the State Cut 1.5%
by Dave Younger on February 09, 2015
On Thursday February 5th Governor Brownback cut general state aid to school districts by 1.5%. This totals $105,000 for USD 214 – Ulysses for this school year. The cut will take effect on March 7th. We will do our best in USD 214 to work through the challenges ahead.
It is important that our legislators hear your concerns about students’ education in Kansas.
Thank you for your support of the students and staff of USD 214 – Ulysses.

I do hope that many people will contact the legislators with concerns. As President of Delta Kappa Gamma chapter Beta Xi, here in Ulysses, I am encouraging all our members and our co-workers to do the same. Suzanne Gollhofer |
