A second- and third-quarter scoring drought doomed Ulysses in their 49-37 KSHSAA 4A Division I Regional loss to Buhler on November 7.
Trailing 28-21 entering the second, the Tigers failed to generate a score the next two quarters while their guests generated 21 points.
Buhler's output gave them a 49-21 lead entering the fourth.

Ian Rudzik led the Tigers on the ground, piling up 219 yards on 28 carries. Zach Romero covered 126 yards in 21 carries.
Ulysses never led.

After another Buhler touchdown, Rudzik's 5-yard rushing touchdown followed by a 2-point conversion knotted the score at 14.
The Crusaders then went on their 21-0 scoring run to place the Tigers in a 49-21 hole after three quarters.
Romero's 19-yard run ended the scoring drought.
Bryce Rodriguez ran into the end zone from two yards out to draw the Tigers to within 49-35.
