UHS Scholars Bowl Team Competes at Lakin;
Places 4th Among Fourteen Teams

Launch the media gallery 1 playerUlysses High School Scholars Bowl team competed at their first meet of the season on Tuesday October 28, 2014.
The five member team travel to Lakin High School for the competition.
Members competing at Lakin were Logan Heinrichs, Kai Rios, Braden Bohl, Jessica Hanson, and Perla Moncayo. The team went undefeated in pool play with a record of six and one.
After pool play the team participated in the Championship rounds, which was a mini five round tournament, where teams records began again.
In Championships the team won two and lost three.
Ultimately, Ulysses placed fourth out of the fourteen teams in attendance.

Southwestern Heights - 1st
Wichita County - 2nd
Lakin - 3rd
Liberal - 5th
Syracuse - 6th
The scholars bowl team's next meet is on November 3 at Satanta High School. The team is coached by Kristi Bohl and Erika Downing.
