by Dennis Gonzales on October 26, 2014

Rose Hill - Ulysses didn't need to gamble, but 21s and Ian Rudzik's six touchdowns came up big in their 42-21 win over Rose Hill last Friday.

The Tigers posted 21 points in the first and second half to secure the victory.

Rose Hill made a mini-comeback that never overtook their hosts.

Ulysses jumped up 21-0 in the first quarter.

Rudzik added TDs four and five 34 seconds apart in the third.

With 2:37 remaining he entered the end zone from 13 yards out.

A 19-yard finish at the 2:03 mark followed by Zach Romero's successful PAT run pushed Ulysses's lead to 35-14.

Rudzik's sixth TD came via a 1-yard run 2:13 before the game's conclusion.

The Tigers rolled up 418 rushing yards.

Romero latched on a Braden Scott pass for 29 yards. Scott was 2-of-6 through the air for 32 yards.
