Defense Ruled the Night on Friday in Scott City;
Tigers Could Only Generate One TD of Their Own in a 14-7 Loss

SCOTT CITY - Defense ruled the night.
Ulysses held Scott City's high-powered offense to 14 points, but the Tigers could only generate one TD of their own in a 14-7 loss last Friday.
Ulysses came into the game averaging 46.6 ppg. and Scott City 50.6 ppg.
The loss dropped the Tigers to 4-2 overall and 3-2 in the GWAC.
Scott City remains undefeated, 6-0 overall and 5-0 in the GWAC.
Scott City led 14-0 before Bryce Rodriguez latched onto a Braden Scott touchdown pass with 8:34 left in the fourth quarter.
The Beavers ran 59 plays to the Tigers' 46. In the first down department the host held a 21-17 advantage.
Ian Rudzik, Ulysses's leading scorer, was held scoreless. He ran for 135 of the Tigers' 161 rushing yards.
In week 5, Rudzik ran for 324 yards and seven touchdowns against Goodland.
October 17 Ulysses hosts 2-4 Mulvane.
