UHS Cross Country Places Third at Stanton County

I Think That Our Kids Really Learned Today What It Means “To run for something bigger than yourself.” said Coach Perez

by Georjean Perez on October 03, 2013

All of our kids did a fantastic job at the Stanton County Cross Country Meet held on Saturday, September 28th.

The varsity girls ran without our #3 and #5 runners and the varsity guys ran without our #1 runner but their team-mates stepped up and ran with such great intensity, inner strength and determination that it was just amazing to watch them come together as a team! I think that our kids really learned today what it means “to run for something bigger than yourself.”  It was a “Great Day To Be A Runnin’ Tiger.!

Our next meet is at Syracuse on Saturday, October 5th, beginning at 10 AM (central time).
