FFA offers you the opportunity to develop leadership skills and job skills to be used in the world of work. To enroll you must be in an agricultural education class. You must be in good standing with the local chapter. You must try to attend all FFA meetings and have an SAE. The name National FFA Organization reflects the broadening field of agriculture, which today encompasses more than 300 careers in everything from agriscience to turf grass management.
The agricultural education program provides a well rounded, practical approach to learning through three components: Classroom education in agricultural topics; Hands-on supervised career experience; and FFA, which provides leadership opportunities and tests student's agricultural skills.
The FFA programs and activities help members develop leadership skills, conduct and particitpate meetings, manage financial matters, and strengthen problem solving abilities and assume civic responsibility.
