Ulysses, USD 214, having all NCA-Accredited schools, is the largest 4-A school district in Southwest Kansas, with an enrollment for 2006-07 of 1730 students and an excellent teaching staff of 124.

PLUS a full-day kindergarten program which began in 2006-07 as well as a transitional first grade for the student who is not developmentally "ready". We believe in the "Gift of Time". We provide a developmental approach to allow perfectly normal students to develop rather than push them inappropriately.
