USD 214 is required by the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) to notify you of the district’s operation and management plan for ACM (asbestos-containing materials) within USD 214’s facilities.
The Operation and Management Plan contains information on the location, type, and quantity of ACM and the results of inspection. It also serves as a depository for all records about asbestos.
The Operation and Management Plan is located at Joyce School, 111 S. Baughman, Ulysses, Kansas. You may view the plan during regular business hours or visit with Mr. Ken Kistler, District AHERA Coordinator.
